Based on 20 years previous gardening experience the company was established in 2006 by husband and wife team David & Moira Gash.
"Gardening was very much a passion and hobby for us, so we were delighted when we were able to turn our hobby into a business".
The business grew from humble beginnings back in 2006 but since then has gone from strength to strength. With a loyal client base, a high percentage of recommendations, referrals and repeat business from existing clients, the business continues to grow whilst also attracting new clients and work.
As a business we are fully insured with current Employers Liability & Public Liability.
We have a Health and Safety policy and carry out risk assessments.
We offer free estimates, so when a client makes initial contact, we will arrange a suitable date and time to visit the garden or the site to see and discuss what work is involved.
Thereafter this is followed up by an estimate in writing detailing the scope of work and giving a likely date for when the work might take place.
Our staff are equipped with the essential tools and skills to undertake the tasks and projects required.
We work as a flexible fluid team, which is supplemented by summer students and casual staff as required during the main growing season.
We are Members of the Gardeners Guild and
have been finalists in the Trades Advisor Awards in both 2013 and 2016 and were delighted to win the Customer Service Award in 2016
As a business we believe we should all do something to help the environment. Where possible we recycle as much waste as we can.
Collected leaves, are stored and turned into leaf mould. to be used later as a soil improver or mulch.
Branches and woody shrub cuttings are shredded to make bark and then used to create paths or as a mulch on borders.
Grass clippings are collected and mixed with shredded green/ brown waste to make into good compost , which can be used in subsequent years.
